Join us for the release of our newest brew, Hallowed Ground, in collaboration with Indajani Cervecería and Saque Mate, run by Miky Huidobro, bassist of the Grammy-award winning Mexican band, Molotov.
Representatives from each brewery will be at the Altstadt taproom beginning at 4pm on Friday, July 21st to share samples of the beer and answer any questions about the beer and involved breweries.
Then, at 5pm, we’re so lucky to get an exclusive performance from Miky Huidobro himself! Join us in the Grand Hall, for a mix of Latin sounds and German culture.
About the beer:
A collaboration with brewmaster Adolfo Diaz-Llaneza of Indajani, musician and Molotov bassist Miky Huidobro of Saque Mate, and Altstadt Brewery, which blends together our rich Mexican and Texas heritage. This deep golden, high gravity Munich-style Lager is fermented with the help of Mexican agave nectar and Texas Ruby Red Grapefruit. It is then aged on grapefruit peel to add a zest that balances out this strong yet smooth brew.
