Lager - Helles / 4.8% ABV / 20 IBU

Altstadt Lager is a traditional Munich-style Helles brewed in Fredericksburg, Texas. German malted barley gives this golden lager its smooth, lightly sweet malt character, while Hallertau noble hops provide balance without assertive bitterness. Cold fermentation with German lager yeast creates a clean, crisp finish that makes Altstadt Lager both flavorful and remarkably easy to drink.

Altstadt Pils is a crisp, refreshing German-style pilsner brewed in Fredericksburg, Texas. Made with 100% German Pilsner malt, this brilliant golden lager has a clean malt backbone balanced by Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Saaz hops. Floral aromas, light spice, and firm but approachable bitterness lead to a dry, clean finish.

Altstadt Hefeweizen is a traditional German-style wheat beer brewed in Fredericksburg, Texas. German malted wheat makes up more than half of the grain used in this full-bodied, golden beer. Altstadt Amber is a traditional Düsseldorf-style Altbier brewed in Fredericksburg, Texas. German Pilsner, Munich, and crystal malts create its brilliant amber color and rich, lightly nutty malt character. Saphir and Spalt hops provide balanced bitterness, resulting in a full-flavored yet remarkably smooth ale with a clean, complex finish.

Märzen / 5.9% ABV / 16 IBU

Altstadt Oktoberfest is a traditional Märzen brewed in Fredericksburg, Texas. A blend of German Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts gives this copper-colored lager its rich, lightly sweet malt character. Mild hopping provides balance while allowing the toasted malt flavors to shine. The result is a smooth, full-bodied beer with a clean, complex finish.

Altstadt’s most popular seasonal release, Oktoberfest was named the Houston Chronicle’s favorite in a comparison of 12 Oktoberfest beers from Texas, national, and international breweries.

Pairs well with bratwurst, schnitzel, roasted pork, pretzels, and aged cheeses. Lederhosen are not required, but always encouraged.

Shandy / Radler / 3.2% ABV / 13 IBU

Our new seasonal Radler turns the classic German beverage full Texan. We've taken our gold-medal winning Lager and blended it with the State Plant of Texas and real fruit juice! The result is a highly drinkable, slightly sweet and pleasantly tart drink with notes of melon, berry and bubblegum.

Shandy / Radler / 3.2% ABV / 14 IBU

Altstadt Peach Radler is a Texas Hill Country take on the classic German radler. We blend our award-winning lager with Fredericksburg peaches and real fruit juice to create a light, crisp, and refreshing beer with bright peach flavor. At 3.2% ABV, it is an easy-drinking choice for hot Texas days.

IPA - New England / 5.7% ABV / 30 IBU

Our 2026 collaboration with San Antonio’s Idle Beer Hall still boasts bright tropical, citrus and dank flavors and aromas from additions of American and New Zealand hops in the mash, kettle, whirlpool and dry hopping. This year we’ve added Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grape skins and fermented with thiolized yeast to boost thiol biotransformation in the hops and grape skins. This process adds passion fruit and guava notes, making this year’s version of Tropidelica Hazy IPA brighter, juicier and more tropical than ever!

Lager - Vienna / 5% ABV / 26 IBU

A traditional Vienna Lager brewed with Pilsner, Munich, and a heavy dose of Vienna malt balanced out with just the right amount of Mittelfruh hops. Orignally brewed in 1841 by Anton Dreher, the Vienna Lager was heavily inspired by British pale, red, and dark ales. While this style is fading in Europe, it is thriving just south of the border and is commonly known today as Mexican Lager.

Bock - Doppelbock / 7.8% ABV / 25 IBU

This traditional Doppel(double)bock is our yearly celebration of our tap room's anniversary. Brewed with Vienna, Munich and Abbey malts, this dark and full-bodied lager boasts a smooth and very malty flavor worthy of the style originally brewed in Bavarian monasteries. And yes, "Lator" is spelled that way on purpose!
