John P. Rogers is a guitarist and vocalist performing an eclectic mix of classic rock, blues, jazz, and pop covers.
An ex-oilfield engineer, John retired in 2015 and moved east to play music in the southeast NC coastal music scene.In 2023, John moved back to Texas and landed in San Antonio where he met local singer/songwriter veteran musician Dan Gonzalez. These kindred spirits hit it off in a big way… and now work together playing a mix of classic covers and Dan’s originals as a duo and with The Dan Gonzalez Band.
As the grandson of Conjunto legend and pioneer Ismael Gonzalez, Dan Gonzalez has his roots deep in the Lone Star State’s fertile musical ground. Drawn to Texas singer-songwriters, such as Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen, and classic rockers like Tom Petty and the Eagles, Gonzalez’s songs have an Americana feel with the blues and rock electricity to get the dance floor jumping and crowds rocking.
