Style Märzen
Altstadt Oktoberfest is a traditional Märzen brewed in Fredericksburg, Texas. A blend of German Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts gives this copper-colored lager its rich, lightly sweet malt character. Mild hopping provides balance while allowing the toasted malt flavors to shine. The result is a smooth, full-bodied beer with a clean, complex finish.
Altstadt’s most popular seasonal release, Oktoberfest was named the Houston Chronicle’s favorite in a comparison of 12 Oktoberfest beers from Texas, national, and international breweries.
Pairs well with bratwurst, schnitzel, roasted pork, pretzels, and aged cheeses. Lederhosen are not required, but always encouraged.
