Judging took place February 6-8, 2026 in Austin with 56 judges evaluating 930 anonymized entries from 142 breweries hailing from all different corners of the state. The Texas Craft Brewers Cup judging pool was composed of experienced brewing industry professionals and select members of the homebrewing community with extensive Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) judging experience.
“As we celebrate this year’s Texas Craft Brewers Cup medalists, we’re really celebrating something bigger—the shared commitment to quality that defines Texas craft beer,” said Caroline Wallace, Executive Director of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild. “Our breweries push each other to be better every single day. This competition is judged by their peers, which makes this recognition especially meaningful. It’s a testament to the craftsmanship, innovation, and collaborative spirit that runs through the Texas brewing community.”
